Resident Evil's Iconic Popcorn Bucket Is Back: Where To Buy Yours

The cinematic reimagining of Resident Evil has defied expectations, not only achieving box office success but also igniting a frenzy for franchise-related merchandise. Among the most sought-after items is the specially designed popcorn bucket, which quickly sold out in theaters due to overwhelming fan demand. This isn't just any concession stand accessory; it's a nod to the series' survival horror roots, designed to look like a medical courier's tactical insulated carrier.

For those who missed out on the initial theatrical release, there's good news. The Resident Evil Medical Courier Popcorn Bucket is now available for purchase through the official AMC Theatres shop. Priced at $24.99, this limited-edition collectible allows fans to bring a piece of the Resident Evil universe home. Each customer is permitted to purchase up to three units, ensuring a wider audience has a chance to acquire this unique item. While purchases from the AMC Theatres Shop do not accrue AMC Stubs points, the item ships within one day, meaning your cinematic operation or movie marathon gear can arrive swiftly.

A Collector's Dream

The creation of this unique promotional item originated from an assistant manager at a Marcus Theatre's O'Fallon, Missouri location, who aimed to capture the beloved, albeit sometimes clunky, charm of the original Resident Evil games. This thoughtful design clearly resonated with the fanbase, leading to its rapid sell-out. The demand underscores the deep connection players have with the Resident Evil franchise, extending beyond the games themselves to encompass films and associated memorabilia. It’s a testament to how well-crafted, thematic merchandise can become highly coveted items for passionate communities.

What's Next

With the Resident Evil movie continuing its strong performance and fan demand for collectibles remaining high, it will be interesting to see if further merchandise collaborations or re-releases are announced. For now, securing this tactical popcorn bucket from the AMC Theatres shop is the primary way for fans to own a piece of this cinematic survival horror event. Fans eager to add this to their collection should act fast, as the limited nature of the item suggests it may not be available for long.
